My job was to design the what's on app. I am a digital designer and the only one in the group so it was always going to be my job. During the day where Laura and myself weren't at the crit Issy and Lizzy designed the app which made me a little bit confused as it was my responsibility. Though this was slightly annoying I embraced the designs as development and built my design from there.
The designs by Issy and Lizzy were not the best but their specialism is not digital design so this was to be expected.
When designing my app I tried to pay attention to UX and think about the best ways users could navigate through the app. I chose to have a horizontal fixed navigation bar along the bottom of my app as it offered the best navigation for the wide range of users. I tried to use as little text as possible and let the impressive photography speak for itself. As this brief was about trying to get people to invest up North I think images do a better job than any text.
